SiteSmith Operations
Stock, orders, purchasing and the books.
Operations runs the back office: products and pricing, stock across locations, deliveries, recurring orders, rentals, purchasing and accounting. Customers and invoices come from the CRM.
What Operations does
The back office, in one app.
Products and pricing
Variants, price lists with quantity breaks, per-customer terms and sales tax rates.
Stock
Stock by location, moves, counts, lots and expiry dates, serial numbers, and reorder suggestions grouped by vendor.
Scanning and labels
Scan with a phone camera or a Bluetooth or USB scanner, and print QR or Code 128 labels on Avery sheets or thermal rolls.
Fulfillment and deliveries
A fulfillment board with pick lists. Deliveries go out as Dispatch jobs, and drivers see a Stock tab on their terminal.
Recurring orders and rentals
Schedules that raise CRM invoices, which you can run early, skip or pause. Rentals with reservations, check-out, return and rent-to-own.
Purchasing
Vendors, purchase orders with a PDF, receiving, bills with approval, and bill payments.
Accounting
Chart of accounts, journal, posting from invoices and payments, bank import (CSV, OFX, QFX) and reconciliation, fixed assets and period close.
Reports
Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, aging, sales tax, 1099 and inventory valuation, as CSV or .xlsx.
Connections
QuickBooks Online, Xero and Gusto, or upload payroll files from ADP or another provider.
Make it yours
Redesign Operations around how you work.
Lay out the pages, menus and forms yourself, on the same builder that runs across Workspace. Start from a template or a blank page.
Operations dashboards and pages
A dashboard and pages of your own, with tiles for stock, orders, purchasing, rentals and the books. Every list page can carry its own numbers above it, and the side menu and top bar are yours to rebuild.
10 dashboard templates
New product and New order forms
Operations admins choose which fields the New product and New order dialogs show, and in what order. Fields left off take the usual defaults.

Plans
Operations has a free tier, and its own plans.
Everyone gets the free tier, with no time limit. Pro and Business are one subscription per account for Operations, separate from Workspace+ and Pro. The limits and prices shown are the current ones.

Good to know
Good to know.
- Accounting is part of every plan, the free one included.
- Stock can be imported from CSV or .xlsx.
- Deliveries need Operations linked to a Dispatch center.
- QuickBooks, Xero and Gusto connections use your own developer app with each of them.
- Reports export as CSV or .xlsx. There are no PDF reports yet, and scanning is in the browser, not the SiteSmith app.
