Channels
Public or private, each with a topic. Direct messages and groups of up to 9 people.
Threads and mentions
Reply in a thread to keep a channel tidy, and @mention whoever needs to see it.
Reactions and pins
React with an emoji, pin messages that matter, edit or delete your own.
Files
Up to 10 files per message, each up to 35 MB.
Search
Find old messages, star conversations, mute the noisy ones.
Status
Set a status with an emoji and an end time, or turn on Do Not Disturb.
Workspace+ and Pro
What the paid plans add to Chat.
The free plan has no time limit. Upgrading is per person, from inside Workspace, and you can cancel any time.
